Application is made by presenting a detailed business plan that provides overall detail and identifies a specific investment role for SaskWorks Venture Fund. The following information can be used as a guideline. The Investment Criteria provide more information regarding applicant criteria.

Investment Information
Discuss in detail the funding required and what it is required for (Sources and Uses of Funds).

Corporate Summary
Brief overview of your company, the nature of the business, current status, future plans and strategies.

Product or Service
Brief description, including any trademarks, brand names, patents, competitive advantages and disadvantages.

Management
One of the most important parts of the plan. Describe in detail the organizational structure, and provide resumes for key people. Assess management's strengths and weaknesses. Identify where additional skills need to be acquired.

Financial Information
Include a complete set of audited financial statements for the past five years and pro form financial statements for the next 5 years, including a break-even analysis.

Markets
Describe your market, its size, trends, competitors and include the marketing plans for your company.

Operations
Provide an overview of the operations of your company.

Risk Analysis
Identify and evaluate the major risks, including contingencies to deal with identified risks should they become a reality.
